Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to handle payroll processing in our York office. You will ensure compliance with HR policies, manage payroll discrepancies, and liaise with employees regarding payroll queries.

Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll systems and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Calculate overtime, bonuses, and deductions as necessary.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
  • Prepare end-of-year documentation, including P60s and P11Ds.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and systems.
