Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within set deadlines and budgets, while ensuring that quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of construction projects.
  • Monitor project progress and adapt plans as required.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Track and report on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhered to throughout the project.
  • Manage project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance and manage contract negotiations.
  • Foster a positive team environment and encourage collaboration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Chartered status (e.g., CIOB) is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
Technical Skills
  • Project Management Software (e.g. MS Project)
