Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Crane and Tower Operator to join our vibrant team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes, ensuring precise lifting and movement of materials on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of cranes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and rectify potential hazards during crane operations.
• Assist in conducting safety meetings and training sessions for all site personnel.
• Maintain communication with the site manager regarding project timelines and equipment needs.
• Report any malfunctions or safety risks to the maintenance team immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous crane operation training or apprenticeship is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry

Certifications

• CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) certification
