• Operate and maintain combustion systems of the power plant.
• Identify and troubleshoot combustion system issues.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on combustion systems.
• Work with other departments to ensure optimum plant performance.
• Implement and maintain safety and environmental protocols.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Combustion Systems Knowledge Strong knowledge of combustion systems and equipment.
• Data Analysis Software Experience with data analysis software for monitoring system performance.
• Analytical Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• English (Fluent)

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering: Preferred qualification for advanced technical roles.
• Experience with combined-cycle power plants: Valuable experience for optimising performance.
• Familiarity with fuels other than natural gas: Knowledge of alternative fuel systems is an asset.
