Responsibilities
Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing.
Lead market research initiatives to identify new timber sources.
Work closely with logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers for long-term partnerships.
Ensure compliance with environmental and legal regulations in timber sourcing.
Provide forecasts and budget recommendations related to timber supply.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Forestry or related field is preferred
Experience
Experience in international timber sourcing is an advantage
