We are in search of a skilled Software Tester to join our Glasgow team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and be proficient in both manual and automated testing processes. Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on software applications.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans.
• Work with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Maintain a strong understanding of system functionality and enhancements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Assist with the training and mentoring of junior testers.
• Prepare and deliver regular testing progress reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in QA role

Technical Skills

• Automated Testing Tools
• API Testing

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)
• Scrum Master Certified (SMC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter: Knowledge of performance testing for various applications.
• Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD): Experience in testing with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
