Job Description

As a Plant Protection Supervisor, you will be instrumental in overseeing the implementation of pest and disease control programmes to protect our crops from damage. Your role will ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and safety standards, creating a safer and more efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of pest control initiatives to protect crops from damage.
  • Maintain awareness of trends in pest and disease management technologies.
  • Collaborate with environmental health teams to ensure safe practices.
  • Analyse data and make recommendations for improvement in pest management strategies.
  • Develop training materials for staff on pest identification techniques.
  • Create risk assessment reports regarding pest control activities.
  • Assist in emergency response plans for pest outbreaks.
  • Participate in workshops on sustainable pest management practices.
  • Manage inventory of pest control supplies and equipment.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience preferred in pest management or agriculture
