Job Description

As a Bronc Buster, you will be tasked with training and breaking horses to prepare them for various rodeo events. This role requires a strong understanding of horse behaviour, a passion for equestrian activities, and the ability to work with different horse breeds in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Document training progress and report to the Rodeo Event Manager.
  • Work effectively with a team of fellow trainers and support staff.
  • Manage time effectively to meet training schedules and event requirements.
  • Maintain a good relationship with horse owners and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Professional certification in horse-riding and horse-handling
  • Experience in rodeo and show horse-riding preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in horse training and performance, particularly in rodeo settings.
