Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and a strong understanding of engineering principles, focusing on delivering innovative construction solutions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess site conditions before and during construction.
• Implement sustainable practices in all project phases.
• Facilitate communication among diverse project stakeholders.
• Monitor ongoing project progress and adjust plans as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• Geotechnical Engineering Expertise

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• CEng status is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Local Authority Planning: Proven track record in liaising with local authorities for project approvals.
• Knowledge of Construction Law: An understanding of the legal frameworks governing construction activities.
