Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders

Job Description

As a Shoe Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a double needle sewing machine to sew two parallel rows of stitching on various fabrics. Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Use double needle sewing machines to produce garments according to specifications.
• Measure and mark fabrics to ensure precise stitching.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished garments for quality assurance.
• Work with the team to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Monitor inventory of supplies, requesting replacements when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in textile manufacturing preferred

Technical Skills

• Sewing Machine Maintenance
• Material Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Advantageous

• Experience with Stretch Fabrics: Ability to work with various fabrics, especially stretch materials.
• Basic Mechanical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot simple mechanical issues on sewing machines.
