Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Bristol. This role involves evaluating and improving our clients' cybersecurity posture, implementing security policies, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, and demonstrate strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' existing security measures and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement security frameworks tailored to client needs.
• Lead incident response efforts and act as a point of contact during crises.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on cybersecurity awareness.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies and procedures.
• Assist in the procurement and implementation of security technologies.
• Review and update security policies regularly to address new threats.
• Actively participate in security strategy meetings and discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity consulting

Certifications

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

Languages

• English: Fluent
