Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our Cardiff team. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with the maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of systems and networks, coupled with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to support requests from staff in various departments.
  • Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
  • Maintain the company’s IT documentation and knowledge base.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors for support and maintenance.
  • Assist in setting up remote access solutions for employees.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Stay updated on technology trends to recommend improvements.
  • Track and report on IT support metrics for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support roles
