Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in Luton. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate payroll for employees. You will liaise with HR and finance teams to manage payroll queries effectively, undertake payroll reconciliations, and contribute to continuous improvement in payroll practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll cycles accurately.
  • Verify timesheets and resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate with government agencies regarding payroll-related issues.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits and deductions.
  • Compile and submit necessary reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll department.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CIPP qualification is a plus

  • 5+ years in payroll management or related roles
