Seeking a proactive and qualified Veterinary Laboratory Manager to lead our diagnostic laboratory in Corby. The role entails managing laboratory personnel, maintaining high standards of quality control, and liaising with veterinary staff for optimal service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise laboratory staff, ensuring effective workflow.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and health and safety standards.
• Establish and review laboratory procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with veterinary teams to align laboratory services with their needs.
• Generate and present regular performance reports to management.
• Manage laboratory budgeting and resource allocation effectively.
• Conduct regular audits to improve laboratory processes and services.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to enhance laboratory capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years in a veterinary laboratory or similar environment
