Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our expert radiotherapy team. The successful candidate will calculate radiation doses and design treatment plans, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the medical team to finalise treatment protocols.
• Perform quality control tests and calibrations on radiotherapy devices.
• Assist in the education and training of junior staff.
• Implement safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
• Stay informed about advancements in dosimetry software and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical dosimetry

Technical Skills

• Proton Therapy
• Brachytherapy

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Radiation Oncology Therapist (CRO)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proton Therapy Experience: Hands-on experience in proton therapy planning and delivery.
• Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a clinical team.
