Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Musical Instrument Repairer and Tuner to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining wind instruments such as saxophones, flutes, and clarinets, while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth inspections of instruments to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations throughout the repair process.
  • Utilise repair tools and equipment effectively to perform high-quality work.
  • Ensure that all repairs comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Facilitate a smooth workflow within the repair team to maximise efficiency.
  • Participate in community outreach events to promote our services.
  • Support the development of new service offerings based on customer feedback.
  • Maintain a positive team environment, contributing to collective goals.
  • Implement best practices for sustainable instrument repair and maintenance.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in music or music technology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in instrument repair
