Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cake Former to join our talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and shaping cakes to meet customer specifications, showcasing exceptional attention to detail and a passion for baking.

Responsibilities

• Use various cake moulding and pressing equipment to shape batter.
• Ensure cakes are formed according to specified size and weight.
• Adjust equipment settings for consistent quality.
• Work closely with team members to meet production schedules.
• Comply with food safety regulations.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant culinary qualification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Cake Decorating
• Time Management

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Collaboration

Advantageous

• Familiarity with different cake types and styles: Experience in creating a variety of cakes including wedding, birthday and custom designs.
• Experience in inventory management systems: Familiarity with managing stock levels and placing orders efficiently.
