Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stem Roller Operator to efficiently operate a stem roller machine, ensuring the compaction of various surfaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate prior experience and a strong understanding of construction site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of stem roller equipment to achieve desired compaction results.
  • Follow operational procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Monitor site conditions and adjust machinery operation accordingly.
  • Maintain and clean equipment to ensure longevity and performance.
  • Work alongside supervisors and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major concerns.
  • Document and report daily activities to the project manager.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational qualification in construction or civil engineering
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating stem roller machines in a construction setting.
