Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Salvage Engineer to manage salvage operations for our marine projects. You'll develop salvage strategies, supervise operations, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while working under challenging conditions. A proactive approach and strong teamwork will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Create salvage strategies and assess feasibility of operations.
  • Lead salvage operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of ongoing salvage projects.
  • Work with external stakeholders to align project objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and formulate contingency plans.
  • Train team members on best practices and safety measures.
  • Maintain an inventory of salvage equipment, ensuring readiness.
  • Conduct post-operation evaluations to enhance procedures.
  • Stay updated on marine salvage laws and regulations.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or related field
  • Further certifications in Salvage Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in leading salvage operations
