Responsibilities

  • Support daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of the pharmacist.
  • Dispense medications and provide usage instructions to patients.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Handle prescription orders and perform necessary pharmaceutical calculations.
  • Educate patients about medication management and side effects.
  • Facilitate the management of prescription renewals and medication refills.
  • Assist in the implementation of new pharmacy protocols and initiatives.
  • Monitor medication storage conditions and expiry dates.
  • Engage in patient health promotion and education activities.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills
  • Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills is preferred
Experience
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred
