Job Description

As a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician, you will provide crucial medical care to children requiring emergency treatment. Your role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of acute conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Stabilize pediatric patients during emergencies and provide critical care.
  • Manage multiple emergency cases effectively and prioritise treatment based on urgency.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
  • Conduct necessary diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately.
  • Collaborate with different medical departments to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with clinical governance standards and guidelines.
  • Engage in research activities related to pediatric emergency medicine.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical Degree (MD or equivalent)
  • Specialist training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is preferred
