Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to be part of our team in Edinburgh. You will be responsible for assessing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans for patients facing physical and mental challenges, ensuring they achieve their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial evaluations and regular reassessments of patients.
  • Create and implement therapy plans tailored to patient needs focusing on practical and functional skills.
  • Engage with healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
  • Educate patients and family members about recovery processes and expected outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and record-keeping practices.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to further enhance your skills.
  • Assist in the training of junior staff and students.
  • Lead team meetings focused on patient care and service enhancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in Occupational Therapy
