Weatherseal Technician

Job Description

As a Weatherseal Technician, you will be tasked with installing and repairing weatherseals on various building openings, ensuring that properties are energy-efficient and protected from water ingress. You will use your technical skills and manually install sealing solutions, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for efficient work scheduling.
• Report on job progress and highlight potential issues to management.
• Train and mentor junior technicians when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in construction or a related field preferred

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
• Basic computer skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of weatherproofing materials and techniques: Familiarity with the applications and benefits of different sealing technologies.
