Job Description
As a Panman, you will play a key role in our kitchen, using your expertise to prepare and cook a variety of Caribbean dishes using traditional steel pans. This is a hands-on position that requires a passion for food and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
Create and cook a variety of Caribbean dishes, focusing on efficiency and taste.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Work alongside chefs to develop and refine recipes using fresh ingredients.
Assist in managing kitchen operations during peak service hours.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in food preparation.
Respond to customer feedback and adapt dishes accordingly.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Culinary school certification preferred
Experience
At least 3 years of experience as a Panman or in a similar role in a busy kitchen
