Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Yardman to oversee and maintain yard operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the area is organized, clean, and safe for operational activities, collaborating with team members to streamline workflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of the yard and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations.
• Train new employees on yard procedures and safety protocols.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to inventory management.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements in yard operations.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in the yard.
• Utilize yard management software for keeping records.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in logistics or construction preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
