Job Description

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to join our passionate team in Woking. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our community initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a nuanced understanding of fundraising channels, relationship management, and the ability to engage with donors effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain relationships with a diverse range of donors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising events.
  • Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities.
  • Draft and distribute communications to engage and inform donors.
  • Collaborate with the board of directors on fundraising planning.
  • Monitor trends in fundraising and recommend best practices.
  • Facilitate donor recognition and appreciation activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Non-Profit Management or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, including major gifts and planned giving
