Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Dry Drug Worker to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse, providing both emotional and practical assistance to foster recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop tailored treatment strategies for clients struggling with substance abuse.
  • Lead group therapy sessions focusing on recovery and coping strategies.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance during crisis situations.
  • Track the effectiveness of treatment plans through consistent monitoring.
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams for integrated client healthcare.
  • Keep detailed reports on client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Facilitate educational workshops for clients and their families on recovery processes.
  • Engage in community service initiatives to enhance the agency's visibility.
  • Organise workshops that engage clients in effective recovery practices.
  • Participate in continuous professional development training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in substance abuse rehabilitation settings or similar.
