Food Server

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure a delightful dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with seating.
• Present menus and be knowledgeable about menu items and specials.
• Process orders for food and beverages effectively.
• Ensure that all tables are clean and well-presented.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond promptly to needs.
• Assist in training new servers and team members.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Report any customer concerns to management swiftly.
• Help with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Support other team members during busy times.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in customer service or food service is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to operate an electronic till system

Soft Skills

• Customer-oriented mindset
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Food Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques: Ability to prepare coffee and related beverages.
• Ability to speak additional languages: Fluency in other languages is a plus.
