Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in Nottingham, you will play a crucial role in project development. Your responsibilities will include managing design processes, conducting site inspections, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, all while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design innovative structural solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Manage construction teams and maintain communication through the project lifecycle.
  • Assess and report on the feasibility of new site locations.
  • Optimize resource allocation for projects.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including local authorities.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications in accordance with regulations.
  • Attend community consultations to discuss project impacts and gather feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in civil engineering, specialising in structural projects
