Job Description
As a Family Advocate, you will play a vital role in providing support and advocacy services to families facing challenges. Your work will ensure that their rights are protected while helping them access the resources they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to effectively advocate for family rights.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to implement family-focused solutions.
Provide training and resources to families about their rights and available services.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services provided to families.
Address complex cases by coordinating with other social services and community resources.
Participate in community outreach activities to promote the organisation’s services and build awareness.
Create educational materials to assist families in understanding their rights and available resources.
Engage in research to improve family advocacy strategies and resource accessibility.
Support families in navigating social services systems while ensuring their needs are met.
Prepare and present case studies to inform policy changes within the organisation.
