We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our busy clinic in Slough. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist in patient care for both routine and emergency procedures.
• Conduct sterilisation of dental equipment and maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Coordinate patient follow-ups and recalls effectively.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Dental Assisting
• A Level or equivalent qualifications highly desirable

Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred

Technical Skills

• Chairside assisting
• Patient management

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Organisational skills

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• GDC registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in radiography: Ability to take dental X-rays safely and effectively.
• Experience with dental software: Familiarity with practice management software enhances workflow.
