Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drawer Fitter to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to install drawers in various types of furniture. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings for precise installations.
• Calibrate tools and machinery before commencing work.
• Ensure finished drawers fit seamlessly and function properly.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Document daily work performed and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during installation.
• Train and mentor new team members on best practices and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in carpentry or furniture manufacturing.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in carpentry techniques
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Knowledge of CAD software

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience in customer service: Prior experience dealing with customers, enhancing service delivery.
