Job Description

The Elevator Troubleshooter will be responsible for maintaining the performance and reliability of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. This role involves diagnosing and repairing technical problems efficiently to ensure optimal functionality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of a diverse range of vertical transport equipment.
• Identify faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure safety standards.
• Assist in the installation of new elevator systems.
• Educate clients on proper system usage and maintenance.
• Liaise with suppliers for parts and equipment as required.
• Develop maintenance schedules and work plans to optimise efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during all operations.

Requirements

Education

• Engineering or Technical degree
• Additional qualifications in elevator and escalator systems preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Experience with hydraulic elevator systems
• Proficiency in electrical systems

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Problem-solving capabilities

Certifications

• Certified Elevator Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with troubleshooting: Hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving elevator system issues.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools: Familiarity with the latest diagnostic tools and software in the industry.
