Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic Choir Teacher to join our dedicated music department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about music education and have experience in conducting choirs. You will play a vital role in shaping our students' musical journeys and preparing them for performances.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive curriculum for choir music classes.
  • Teach music theory, sight-reading, and vocal techniques.
  • Conduct rehearsals and prepare students for various performances.
  • Implement creative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance assessments.
  • Support the wider school community in musical initiatives.
  • Utilize technology in music education where applicable.

  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration among student musicians.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education or a related field
  • Teaching certification or license

  • 3-5 years of experience in choral conducting and teaching
