Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, your primary role will be to operate and maintain incineration equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will play a vital part in the waste management process, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks and maintenance on furnace and drier equipment.
• Monitor for any operational issues and report them to the Site Manager immediately.
• Keep abreast of industry regulations and developments in waste management.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with inventory management of raw materials and maintenance supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma related to environmental services is preferred

Experience

• Experience in the waste management industry is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Computerized controls knowledge

Soft Skills

• Good communication

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Training in hazardous materials handling: Completed training or certification in handling hazardous materials.
