Job Description

The Armorer Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of firearms and weapons. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of weapons used by military, law enforcement, and security personnel. Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail are pivotal for success in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly assess and maintain the operational integrity of firearms.
  • Implement repairs and tune-ups for various weapon systems.
  • Provide hands-on training to users on proper maintenance techniques.
  • Monitor compliance with safety measures in armory operations.
  • Establish and maintain pars for essential weapon components.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance performed on weapons.
  • Research and integrate new technologies in firearm maintenance.
  • Actively support weapon storage management and security compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in firearms technology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in firearms maintenance and operations
