Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Wood Veneer Taper to join our dedicated production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tapering wood veneers to precise specifications using advanced machinery. Attention to detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship are essential in ensuring that all products meet our high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Apply and tape wood veneer to various substrates according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure quality standards are met for every finished product.
  • Operate and maintain machinery used in the veneer taping process.
  • Communicate effectively with other teams to ensure production targets are met.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
  • Assist with training new team members on equipment usage and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a woodworking or manufacturing program is preferred
Experience
  • No prior experience is required, but training or experience in woodworking or manufacturing is preferred.
