Job Description

As a Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender at Spring Manufacturing Ltd., you'll be at the forefront of designing and producing a wide range of springs. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, operating advanced machinery, and ensuring that all quality control standards are met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal and plastic processing, coupled with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and manual tools effectively.
• Adhere to safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
• Provide feedback on machinery performance and maintenance needs.
• Contribute to the development of production schedules.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and repairs.
• Coordinate with procurement for required materials.
• Engage in quality assurance testing of manufactured springs.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior staff.
• Prepare machinery for maintenance checks.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience in manufacturing processes is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
