Job Description

As an Audiologist, you will evaluate and treat patients experiencing hearing and balance disorders. The role requires conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide the best patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive auditory diagnostic tests and interpretations.
  • Formulate and oversee patient rehabilitation programmes as required.
  • Provide education to patients on the use of hearing aids and assistive devices.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to increase awareness of hearing health.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the training of new staff and interns.
  • Document patient treatment progress and outcomes effectively.

Advantageous

  • Familiarity with tele-audiology: Experience in remote assessments and consultations.
  • Knowledge of cochlear implants: Experience with implant fitting and management techniques.
