Job Description

As a Juvenile Probation Parole Specialist, you will provide probation and parole services to juvenile offenders. This role is vital in ensuring their rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society. The ideal candidate will have experience working with at-risk youth and will provide counselling and support services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of juvenile offenders to determine their needs.
• Supervise and support rehabilitation efforts for probationers and parolees.
• Facilitate family meetings and provide tools for families to support their youth.
• Connect juveniles with educational and vocational training programmes.
• Document all case-related information effectively and accurately.
• Liaise with schools and community services to monitor progress and compliance.
• Develop and implement community-based prevention initiatives.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated on regulations and best practices in juvenile justice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in juvenile justice or related fields.
