Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to oversee the design and development of software applications in Oxford. This role involves working closely with our development team to create robust software architecture that meets user needs and aligns with business goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and a strong understanding of system design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.
  • Engage with clients and other stakeholders to define software needs.
  • Guide and influence team practices in software design.
  • Implement Agile methodologies within the development process.
  • Analyze existing software architecture for areas of improvement.
  • Lead architectural design meetings and workshops.
  • Support the deployment of applications and monitor performance.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional teams to align technical strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Advanced degree preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a software architecture role
