Job Description

As a Stretcher Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining stretchers used in hospitals and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate should possess a caring nature and be able to transport patients efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities.
• Provide exemplary patient care at all times.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the ambulance and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the wider team and clients.
• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Undertake any additional duties as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with patient care: Prior experience providing direct care to patients.
