Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rivet Tosser to join our assembly team at Mighty Metalworks Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each rivet is tossed accurately to maintain product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately toss rivets based on engineering specifications and guidelines.
• Select the correct type of rivet depending on project requirements.
• Perform routine inspections on rivets to identify any defects.
• Strictly follow health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Keep workstations tidy and well-organised.
• Work collaboratively with peers to achieve assembly goals.
• Notify supervisors of any operational issues with machinery.
• Interpret assembly instructions and adhere to technical drawings.
• Undertake quality assurance checks on assembled components.
• Achieve and maintain production quotas for the day.

Requirements

Education

• Certifications in manufacturing or related field are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Basic mathematical skills
• Knowledge of rivet types

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
