Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and transactions effectively. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data, supporting our mission in the science and research sector.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recording of day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis to assist in strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning.
  • Assist in preparing financial documents for grant applications.
  • Ensure timely reporting of financial data to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.

Requirements

Education
  • AAT Level 4 or higher in Accounting
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years experience in bookkeeping, particularly in academic or research environments.
