Job Description

We are seeking a Food Compliance Officer to enhance our team in Telford. This vital role involves ensuring that our food products meet regulatory standards, conducting inspections, and implementing food safety protocols to guarantee the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for all food compliance matters.
• Conduct routine checks on food product storage and handling.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with their requirements.
• Provide input and support for policy development regarding food safety.
• Manage food safety incidents and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with internal audits to assess compliance with company policies.
• Utilise software to track compliance and safety incidents.
• Promote a culture of food safety across the organization.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on food hygiene practices.

Requirements

Education

• HND or equivalent in a relevant field
• Specialised food safety qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years working in food safety environments

Technical Skills

• Experience with food safety software
• Knowledge of HACCP principles

Languages

• English: Fluent
