Job Description

As a Leather Shaver, you will play a crucial role in our production process by trimming and shaving leather hides to the desired thickness. Your attention to detail will help maintain the quality and standards that Prestige Leather Works is renowned for.

Responsibilities

• Operate leather shaving machines and tools with precision.
• Monitor shaving process to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment usage and quality checks.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices for efficiency in production.
• Maintain inventory of leather supplies and report shortages.
• Work with the quality control team to ensure finished products are free from defects.
