Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Sheffield team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistics operations, ensuring the timely delivery of goods while optimising supply chain processes. Your role will involve coordinating transport logistics, handling stock and inventory management, and liaising with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Administer logistics and distribution operations to meet customer expectations.
  • Assist in route planning and optimisation to enhance efficiency.
  • Track and report on logistics performance metrics.
  • Facilitate communication between internal departments regarding logistics.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
Technical Skills
  • SAP or similar logistics software
  • Transport Management Systems

Certifications
  • Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)
