Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated Detasseler to join our field operations team. Your main responsibility will be to remove tassels from corn plants to support successful crop yields. The role requires a proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

  • Execute detasseling activities with attention to detail.
  • Contribute to general equipment maintenance and operation.
  • Assist in implementing pest control measures.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide support in crop management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Help with record-keeping for equipment usage and crop conditions.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in a farming or agricultural setting is advantageous.
