Job Description

As a Direct Care Supervisor, you will oversee and manage our care staff, ensuring that they deliver exceptional and person-centered care. The role involves training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of staff to maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the care team, ensuring adherence to care plans.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate resident needs and outcomes.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Implement operational strategies to improve service delivery.
  • Organise staff training sessions and continuous professional development.
  • Address and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Promote a positive work culture within the care environment.
  • Encourage resident autonomy and dignity in care provision.

Requirements

Education
  • SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Registered Manager Award (desirable)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a care supervisory role
