Job Description
As a Direct Care Supervisor, you will oversee and manage our care staff, ensuring that they deliver exceptional and person-centered care. The role involves training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of staff to maintain high standards of care.
Responsibilities
Lead the care team, ensuring adherence to care plans.
Conduct assessments to evaluate resident needs and outcomes.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and confidential records.
Implement operational strategies to improve service delivery.
Organise staff training sessions and continuous professional development.
Address and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
Promote a positive work culture within the care environment.
Encourage resident autonomy and dignity in care provision.
Requirements
Education
SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Registered Manager Award (desirable)
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a care supervisory role
