Job Description

As a Mechanical Door Repairer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated access systems, including automatic doors and gates. You’ll be expected to diagnose issues with electrical and mechanical systems efficiently, ensuring high operational standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain automatic doors, gates, and barriers.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify faults in mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Ensure systems are programmed correctly for smooth operation.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance service quality.

Requirements

Education
  • Level 3 Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • City and Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing and Certification
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the security or access control industry.
